Welcome to the online advance ticket sales of Hamburg State Opera.

If you have already decided on a performance from our programme, you will find it again for checking purposes in the following selection. A change in the desired performance is of course possible. If you have not yet chosen an event, we would ask you to do this now.

you will be forwarded to our Online Ticket Service, which you can use comfortably, quickly and round the clock in order to purchase tickets for our events.

And this is the way it is done

1. In the first stage, the system shows you the price groups where tickets are still available for your desired event.
2. Via the menu item "Advance ticket sales", you will reach the plan of the hall, from which you can choose your desired seats. No reduced tickets can be reserved through online booking. You can receive information on reductions from the ticket sales office, telephone: +49 (0) 40/356868, and at the box office.
3. By clicking the menu item "Continue to Payment", your current shopping cart will be displayed. You can now decide whether you wish to make your booking or order additional tickets for your shopping cart. In this case please select "Purchase tickets for additional events" and repeat the first steps. All tickets selected by you will then be displayed in the shopping cart and can be paid together.
4. We require a few details from you for the ticket reservation. If you are not yet registered with us as a customer, we request that you give us your full user data. Your data will only be used for the processing of the ticket sales and not passed to third parties. If you require regular information about our events, you can also request this.
5. Now choose whether you would like to pick up your tickets at the advance booking office of the State Opera resp. at the evening box-office or whether they should be sent to you against a fee of 2.50 Euro - where the time of the event permits this.
6. You can pay with the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa or American Express. Please enter at this point the details of your credit card plus check digits. With MasterCard and Visa, this is on the back of the card (three-digit), with American Express on the front (four-digit).
7. When you have successfully completed your booking process, you will receive a booking confirmation by Email. Please print this out and present it at the box office as proof when picking up the tickets. Note: reserved tickets cannot be refunded!
8. Another piece of information: we do not charge any booking fees for online ticketing.
